Taylor Swift's Ring Designer Says the Couple "Changed My Life Forever"
Kindred Lubeck, the jeweler who helped design Taylor Swift's engagement ring, was among the roughly 1,000 guests who watched Swift marry Travis Kelce at Madison Square Garden on July 3, and she marked the occasion with a heartfelt tribute of her own.
Lubeck shared a carousel of photos from the wedding on Instagram on July 6, showing off a dark green dress and diamond jewelry from the celebration. "An evening of celebrating the incredible couple who changed my life forever," she captioned the post. "Congratulations T&T."
From Ring Design to Wedding Guest
Lubeck's connection to the couple began nearly a year earlier, when Kelce enlisted her to help design Swift's engagement ring ahead of his August 2025 proposal. Lubeck, a goldsmith and hand engraver known for her vintage-inspired work at Artifex Fine Jewelry in New York, worked with Kelce on a ring featuring an antique old-mine cut diamond set in a warm gold band.
Swift later revealed that she had unknowingly pointed Kelce toward Lubeck's work more than a year before the proposal. "I had shown him a video, I just thought her stuff was so cool," Swift said on the U.K.'s Heart Breakfast radio show in October, recalling how she had shared Lubeck's designs with Kelce roughly a year and a half before he proposed, not realizing he had been paying attention. When she finally saw the finished ring, she said, her reaction was immediate: "I know who made this, I know who made this."
Swift added that the ring's personal touch caught her off guard. "It was like, you really know me," she said. "I didn't know what I would want, but he did somehow, and that's kind of a flex."
Fame Followed the Ring
Lubeck's profile has grown considerably since Swift and Kelce's engagement was first announced. Once known mainly within jewelry circles for her hand-engraved, gemstone-focused pieces, Lubeck has since drawn a wave of new attention tied to her connection with one of the most closely watched couples in pop culture. Her invitation to the wedding, fans noted online, was a natural next step in that arc, given how directly her work has been tied to the couple's story from the beginning.
Swift and Kelce's wedding, held before roughly 1,000 guests, featured a ceremony look designed by Christian Dior Haute Couture and shoes custom made by Christian Louboutin, with Swift also wearing Cartier jewelry for the occasion.
