Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are married.

The couple exchanged vows Friday night at Madison Square Garden in New York City, closing out a wedding weekend that had been shrouded in secrecy despite months of public speculation. The news was confirmed by Swift's team and announced to fans in dramatic fashion: billboards outside the arena lit up in purple reading "JUST&T MARRIED," while the Empire State Building glowed blue in a nod to the old wedding rhyme.

More than 1,000 guests attended the ceremony, which was officiated by longtime family friend Adam Sandler. Swift did not have a traditional wedding party. Instead, her brother Austin Swift served as her "man of honor," while Kelce's brother and fellow NFL veteran Jason Kelce stood as best man.

Swift wore a custom Christian Dior Haute Couture gown designed by Jonathan Anderson, the house's creative director. It marked Anderson's first couture wedding dress created for a celebrity. Her shoes were custom Christian Louboutin, and she wore Cartier jewelry. Kelce also wore a custom Dior look for the occasion.

Reports indicate the couple wrote their own vows for the ceremony, describing the tone as "real, vulnerable, serious and silly, deeply loving."

Security around the event was tight. Guests reportedly received electronic invitations instructing them to "be in New York" from Thursday through Saturday, without venue details included. Phones were banned at the festivities, and attendees signed non-disclosure agreements before the location was revealed.

The wedding drew an enormous roster of celebrities from music, film and sports. Attendees spotted arriving or departing MSG included Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Selena Gomez, Chris Rock, Hugh Grant, Steven Spielberg, Jessica Alba, Tom Brady, Ed Sheeran, Jennifer Lopez, Jimmy Fallon and Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid.

Festivities reportedly began Thursday evening with a rehearsal event for roughly 100 guests before expanding into Friday's full celebration, which stretched well past midnight into Saturday morning.

Swift and Kelce started dating in 2023 after Kelce revealed on his podcast that he had tried, unsuccessfully, to give Swift a bracelet with his phone number at one of her Eras Tour shows. The relationship quickly became one of the most closely watched in pop culture, with Swift attending his football games, including the Kansas City Chiefs' 2024 Super Bowl win, and Kelce appearing at several of her concerts.

The couple announced their engagement in August 2025 through matching Instagram posts, joking that "your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married." Swift has said she never gave much thought to her own wedding until meeting Kelce, telling U.K.'s Heart Radio last fall that the idea only became real once she found the right person.

Despite the secrecy around the ceremony itself, Swift is expected to eventually release details and photos from the wedding on her own terms.
