Morgan Fairchild is trying something new. The 76-year-old actress, known for her roles on Falcon Crest, Flamingo Road and Friends, announced on Thursday, Nov. 5, that she’s joining OnlyFans.

Fairchild is partnering with Creators Inc., a company that manages talent on the subscription platform. She told Entertainment Weekly that the idea came from people close to her. “Several of my friends started doing OnlyFans and encouraged me to try it,” she told the magazine, adding that the experience has been a lot of fun so far.

What Fans Can Expect

OnlyFans is widely known for explicit content, but Fairchild was quick to make clear that her page will be different. She said she’s been shooting new photos and videos for subscribers.

“And before anyone asks, no, not that kind!” she said in a statement, according to Parade.

Instead, Fairchild said most of her content will show her being playful and chatting about whatever is on her mind. She told TMZ that she wants to give fans a look at her life beyond her famous roles. “People know the characters, the clothes and the big hair,” she said, explaining that she’d love to share more of who she is off-screen.

Fairchild also said she’s still curious and always up for an adventure, and she doesn’t see why that should change with age.

Donna Mills Paved the Way

Fairchild isn’t the first soap opera star to join the platform. Knots Landing star Donna Mills signed up for OnlyFans in July, at age 85. Andy Bachman, CEO of Creators Inc., said Mills earned well into six figures during her first week on the platform.

Fairchild told USA Today that Mills explained OnlyFans wants to highlight more content that isn’t adult-oriented. Fairchild said she’s been filming casual videos at home that give subscribers a glimpse into her everyday life, before adding, “Not that kind of video.”

She also said she and Mills have watched many of their friends pull back from public life as they’ve gotten older. Instead, the two of them are choosing to embrace new technology and stay active.

A Decades-Long Career

Fairchild has been a familiar face on television for more than 50 years. She got her start on the CBS soap opera Search for Tomorrow in the 1970s, then became the first actress to play Jenna Wade on Dallas in 1978.

Her starring role on NBC’s Flamingo Road earned her a Golden Globe nomination, and she went on to play attorney Jordan Roberts on Falcon Crest. Over the years, she has received three Emmy nominations.

Younger audiences may know her best from Friends, where she played Chandler Bing’s glamorous mother. Her other credits include Pee-wee’s Big Adventure, General Hospital and The Bold and the Beautiful.

Staying Busy at 76

OnlyFans isn’t Fairchild’s only new project. She also co-hosts a podcast with her sister, Cathryn Hartt, where they share stories from their decades in show business and interview celebrity friends.

She’s also active on social media. She recently shared a photo of a chance run-in with I Dream of Jeannie star Barbara Eden while filming an interview for a documentary about their late colleague Larry Hagman.

For Fairchild, joining OnlyFans seems to be less about shock value and more about connecting with longtime fans in a new way and proving that trying something new doesn’t come with an age limit.
