Every New MLB Ballpark Food You Need to Try in 2026
Opening Day is here, and while peanuts and Cracker Jacks remain a ballpark institution, culinary teams across Major League Baseball have spent the offseason dreaming up some of the most inventive stadium food in recent memory. From a wearable nacho cowboy hat in Texas to a two-foot homemade tortilla in Miami, the 2026 season is shaping up to be a serious year for eating at the ballpark.
"Opening Day is the ultimate opportunity to showcase culinary creativity as we strike a perfect balance between nostalgia and innovation," said Lou Bastian, SVP of culinary for Levy, the restaurant partner for eight MLB ballparks.
Here's a team-by-team look at the best new bites and drinks hitting stadiums when the season tips off Thursday, March 26.
New York Mets — Citi Field
Citi Field has won the Best Baseball Stadium Food award from USA Today and they're not slowing down. Chef Judy Joo's Seoul Bird is joining the lineup with NY Bulgogi Cheesesteak Spring Rolls — marinated beef, kimchi, sharp cheddar and pickled jalapeños served with a creamy gochujang-sriracha mayo.
Shake Shack is also debuting a Home Run Apple Pie Shake, made with vanilla frozen custard and apple pie filling, topped with blue and orange sprinkles.
And for the competitive eater in your group, the new 9 x 9 x 9 Challenge delivers nine mini hot dogs and nine mini beers for nine innings, priced at approximately $55 to $60. The challenge will also be available at Citizens Bank Park, Coors Field, Daikin Park, Kauffman Stadium and Oracle Park.
Seattle Mariners — T-Mobile Park
T-Mobile Park is leaning into its Pacific Northwest identity with a collectible Washington State Ferry Boat Souvenir Vessel — a miniature replica ferry boat available for an $8 upgrade that can be filled with fan-favorite seafood options including crab-topped nachos, crab dip, fish and chips, or chicken fingers. It is exactly as charming as it sounds.
Texas Rangers — Globe Life Field
Everything is bigger in Texas, and Globe Life Field is proving it with the Wearable Nacho Cowboy Hat. The stadium is serving nachos inside an actual wearable cowboy hat, because why not. It is the logical endpoint of stadium food innovation and we are here for it.
Los Angeles Dodgers — Dodger Stadium
The defending World Series champions are bringing serious culinary heat to Dodger Stadium this season. New additions include a house-braised Cochinita Pibil Bone Marrow Taco on warm blue corn tortillas with pickled onions and fresh cilantro, Char Siu Pork Loaded Fries with sriracha mayo, and a Loco Moco Bowl — a Hawaiian comfort classic with a seared beef patty, steamed rice and savory brown gravy topped with a sunny-side-up egg.
For fans 21 and up, the new Watermelon Habanero Margarita balances sweet and heat over ice with a Tajín-dusted rim.
Baltimore Orioles — Camden Yards
Brick & Whistle Food Co., Levy's hospitality team at Camden Yards, is bringing three standout new items to the ballpark. Executive chef Dan Doyle's Crab Smash Tacos put a birria-style spin on the stadium's beloved Maryland crab cakes. The Big Scrap Burger stacks two smashed beef patties with American cheese, crispy fried scrapple, lettuce, onions, pickles and house-made Brick Sauce for a distinctly Maryland take on a ballpark classic.
Rounding out the trio is the B'MORE Yak, a local street food staple of stir-fried udon noodles with grilled shrimp, onions and hot dog slices in dark soy sauce gravy, garnished with green onions and a hard-boiled egg.
Chicago Cubs — Wrigley Field
Wrigley Field and Levy are serving three new savory dishes this season. Chicken & Churros riffs on the classic chicken and waffles concept with fried chicken thighs, fresh churros, ancho syrup and fresh strawberries. The Bao Wow Dog puts a chargrilled Vienna Beef hot dog inside a soft bao bun with mustard slaw and crispy tempura sport peppers. The Tostada Stack layers Hatch green chili beef, refried beans, queso fresco, fresh pico de gallo and crema on a crispy tostada, topped with a fried egg.
Miami Marlins — LoanDepot Park
LoanDepot Park is going all-in on its local Hispanic roots this season. The showstopper is the Machete — a two-foot homemade flour tortilla griddled with melted mozzarella and Oaxaca cheeses, house-marinated carne asada, smoky guajillo pepper sauce, salsa verde and cilantro, served in a custom carrying case.
On the beverage side, the Cafecito Martini shakes vodka and coffee liqueur with fresh Cuban espresso, while the Marlins Mule blends vodka, fresh lime juice and sweet guava syrup, topped with ginger beer and a lime wheel.
Tampa Bay Rays — Tropicana Field
The Rays are back at Tropicana Field following last season's temporary relocation for Hurricane Milton repairs, and they're celebrating the return with three new concessions. The Pretzel Dog wraps a half-pound Nathan's all-beef hot dog in a freshly baked house-made pretzel, served with key lime pineapple mustard. Sweet Pretzel Bites dusted in cinnamon sugar arrive warm in a baseball glove-shaped bowl with caramel and vanilla icing drizzle. And the Oreo Brownie Milkshake combines chocolate soft-serve in an Oreo-rimmed cup, topped with a mini ice cream cone and a brownie wedge.
Washington Nationals — Nationals Park
Nationals Park has three new specialty items worth seeking out. The Bases Loaded Footlong Dog tops an all-beef footlong with roasted peppers, crispy fried onions, butter pickle chips, fried potatoes, smoky bacon jam, chili, guacamole, fresh pico de gallo and cheese sauce.
The Capitol Slugger is a half-smoke sausage topped with chili, crispy fried jalapeños and golden fried onions, served with warm cheese sauce for dipping. The DC Monument Chicken Tower stacks grilled chicken, smoked bacon, mixed greens, creamy chipotle ranch and Gruyère cheese on a soft pretzel bun — a sandwich inspired by the city's most iconic landmark.
Arizona Diamondbacks — Chase Field
Chase Field is debuting a Footlong Elote Corn Dog drizzled with chipotle aioli, fire-roasted corn, Cotija cheese, Tajín and fresh cilantro — a Sonoran take on a ballpark staple. The Take Me Out To The Ballgame Shake is a full nostalgia bomb in milkshake form: salted caramel, whipped cream, peanut butter sandwich cookies, Kit Kat bars and Cracker Jacks.
The new mocktail, the Golden Hour Vibe, blends mango and strawberry purée with peach-flavored Celsius, topped with whipped cream, gold sprinkles and a peach candy slice.
Chicago White Sox — Guaranteed Rate Field
The White Sox are keeping it classic with two new sandwich offerings. The Turkey In The Slaw layers roasted turkey, crispy bacon and sharp cheddar with coleslaw and Louis dressing on thick challah bread. The Settling A Beef sandwich piles Vienna corned beef, melty Swiss cheese, sharp Düsseldorf mustard and coleslaw on toasted seeded rye, served with a dill pickle spear. Sometimes the best stadium food is just a really good sandwich.
