An end-of-the-year family trip to Disneyland went wrong after a man got beaten while waiting in line for a ride.

The Anaheim Police Department is investigating an assault between two guests that happened in the line for Indiana Jones Adventure at Disneyland in Anaheim, California, on December 30. The fight broke out after one group tried to pass another that was standing in line first, according to Anaheim PD Public Information Officer Matt Sutter. A verbal argument turned physical.

The man who got injured received first aid at the park, then stayed for the rest of the day with his family anyway, Sutter and Disneyland Resort confirmed.

The other party—the ones who cut in line—fled Disneyland and haven't been found. Detectives think the suspect is a California resident and are following up on leads.

Anyone with information, eyewitness accounts or video, should contact Anaheim Police at 714-765-1900.

Two Indiana Jones Incidents on the Same Day

Also on December 30, an employee got injured running after a stray prop during the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular show at Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

Videos show a large inflatable prop ball rolling off course during the show. The ball bounded toward the seated audience and a cast member ran in front of it to deflect it. The 400-pound prop got deflected but knocked the cast member down hard, Orlando station WFTV reported. There was blood visible on the man's head as he stood up. Guests cheered and thanked him.

"We're focused on supporting our cast member, who is recovering," Disney said in a statement. "Safety is at the heart of what we do, and that element of the show will be modified as our safety team completes a review of what happened."

The show reopened December 31 with modified operations.

Two separate Indiana Jones-related incidents at two different Disney parks on the same day is a weird coincidence. One involved guests acting like morons. The other involved equipment failure and someone getting hurt doing their job.

Neither story Disney wants making headlines, but both did anyway.
