Chipotle Is Giving Away Free Burritos Today — Here's How to Get One
Chipotle is handing out free food today, and all you need to claim it is a soccer jersey. In honor of the 2026 FIFA World Cup kicking off on June 11, the chain is running a one-day buy-one-get-one-free entree promotion at participating restaurants across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. The only catch: you have to show up in person, wearing your jersey, after 3 p.m. local time.
What the Chipotle Matchday BOGO Deal Covers
Walk into a participating Chipotle location after 3 p.m. local time on June 11 wearing any soccer jersey and you'll receive a free entree with the purchase of another of equal or greater value. The deal is capped at five free entrees per check, and only the guest wearing the jersey can collect the free item. It is available in-restaurant only and cannot be applied to online, mobile, delivery or catering orders.
The promotion cannot be combined with other coupons or discounts, and Kids' Meals do not count as a qualifying entree purchase. Chipotle has not specified which jersey brands or teams are acceptable, so any soccer jersey should qualify. The chain describes the offer as available throughout the U.S., Canada and the U.K., though availability may vary by location.
Chipotle Rewards Members Get a Bonus
If you're enrolled in the Chipotle Rewards program, there's an added incentive to participate. Scan your rewards account at the register during the Matchday BOGO and you'll unlock a limited-edition digital badge through Chipotle's expanded "Rewards on Repeat" program. The badge is only available to loyalty members who participate on June 11.
Membership is free and comes with other ongoing perks, including free Chips and Guac with a qualifying purchase. New members can sign up at chipotle.com/rewards before heading out today.
Chipotle Is Also Releasing Its First-Ever Soccer Jersey
Beyond the food deal, Chipotle is launching a branded soccer jersey this summer. The limited-edition item is described as "inspired by global soccer culture and modern streetwear," featuring the phrase "Real Chipotle" on the front. That choice of wording nods to both the prevalence of the word "Real" in soccer club names and Chipotle's long-standing "Food with Integrity" pledge. The number 53 on the back represents the total number of ingredients used across the Chipotle menu.
Only 53 jerseys will be produced, and they're exclusively available to U.S. Chipotle Rewards members through the Chipotle Rewards Exchange. From June 10 through June 24, loyalty members can swap 10 Rewards points for a chance to win one. Winners will receive their jersey ahead of the tournament final.
Why Chipotle Is Going All In on the World Cup
The 2026 FIFA World Cup is being co-hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico, giving North American brands an unusually prime position to capitalize on global soccer fever. For Chipotle, this Matchday BOGO builds on a series of sports jersey promotions the chain has run in recent years.
Stephanie Perdue, Chipotle's senior vice president of brand marketing, said the company wanted to "celebrate the rituals that make the experience so memorable, from wearing lucky jerseys to gathering for matchday meals with Chipotle." The chain has contributed more than $3.5 million to local soccer organizations and supported more than 14,000 soccer fundraisers since 2015.
How to Make Sure You Qualify
To claim the deal, head to a participating Chipotle in the U.S., Canada or the U.K. today, June 11, after 3 p.m. local time. Wear a soccer jersey. Buy one entree, get one free. Up to five free entrees per transaction, for jersey-wearing guests only.
The promotion is in-restaurant only, cannot be stacked with other offers, and does not apply to Kids' Meals. Chipotle has not released a complete list of participating locations, so it's worth calling your nearest restaurant ahead of time to confirm it's part of the promotion before making the trip.
