If you have Fly By Jing Creamy Sesame Noodles in your pantry and have a peanut allergy — stop eating them now.

Fly By Jing announced a recall on May 12 after discovering that a third-party manufacturer produces its noodles on equipment that also processes peanuts. That means the noodles may contain trace amounts of peanut that aren't listed anywhere on the packaging. For someone with a peanut allergy, that's not a minor issue — it's a potentially life-threatening one.

The recall is nationwide. No illnesses have been reported so far.

Which Products Are Affected

Only the Creamy Sesame Noodles are part of the recall — no other Fly By Jing noodle or sauce products are involved. The recalled items come in both single packs and four-packs. Check the bottom of your packaging for the UPC and best-by date.

The single pack UPC is 8-50052-23988-6. The four-pack UPC is 8-50052-23991-6. Affected best-by dates for both are 10/15/2026, 12/06/2026, and 03/23/2027.

The recalled products were sold at retailers including Whole Foods and Thrive Market between February 1 and March 8.

What To Do

Don't eat them — especially if you have a peanut allergy or are buying for someone who does. Return the product to wherever you bought it for a full refund. You can also contact Fly By Jing customer service at 866-862-2645 Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Pacific, or email recall@flybyjing.com.

Peanut allergies are among the most common and most serious food allergies — reactions can escalate to anaphylaxis quickly and without much warning. The whole point of ingredient labeling is to protect people who need to avoid specific foods. When something slips through unlisted, the consequences can be severe.

If you've eaten the noodles and are experiencing any allergic symptoms — hives, swelling, difficulty breathing — seek medical attention immediately.
