Get ready, friends! The answer to, “When are the Oscars 2025?” is Sunday, March 2nd. That gives us a few days to buy our snacks, put a few bottles of bubbly on ice, and get ready to watch our favorite film stars light up the red carpet – and our night.

When Are the Oscars 2025?

The next question is, “What time are the Oscars?” Also known as the Academy Awards – the 97th, to be precise – the Oscars will light up our televisions at 7 pm EST, 4 pm PST.

The Dolby Theater has been the mainstay for the awards since 2001. Prior to that, it used to be hosted in the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and the Shrine Civic Auditorium and Expo Center.

But, The Dolby Theater, formerly the Kodak Theater, blows all that out of the water with its state-of-the-art design and technology. Plus, it has a seating capacity of 3,300.

How to Watch the Oscars

If you still have cable, you can catch the 2025 Oscars live on ABC. Of course, there are countless streaming options, as well. If you have the ABC app, that’ll be your best bet. Otherwise, you can also pop open Hulu, YouTube TV, AT&T TV, or FuboTV.
