Royal Caribbean has revealed the details about its next Icon Class ship, Legend of the Seas, which will begin cruising in 2026.

This massive new vessel comes with original dining concepts, theatrical entertainment, and family-friendly spaces on the world’s largest ship class.

With Legend of the Seas joining the Royal Caribbean ship 2026 lineup, it will expand the brand’s record-breaking fleet.

The cruise line says Legend will offer “more of what guests know and love,” combining adventure with international cuisine and headline productions across Europe and the Caribbean.

A Global-Inspired Dining Adventure

As part of Royal Caribbean’s Icon Class cruise ships, Legend of the Seas is introducing a whole new level of themed dining and family experiences.

A new restaurant called The Royal Railway will take center stage on board the ship. The concept will turn dinner into a moving journey, tracing the route of Marco Polo through a five-course tasting menu featuring dishes from India, China, and Italy.

Each course is designed to blend storytelling, regional flavor, and visuals that will transport diners far beyond the sea.

Another fresh addition is the Hollywoodland Supper Club, inspired by Los Angeles in its golden age. Guests will step into a 20th-century film set atmosphere complete with live jazz and vintage cocktails.

This cinematic dinner show joins the line’s growing collection of themed supper clubs that began with Empire on Icon of the Seas and Lincoln Park on Star of the Seas.

New Entertainment at Sea

The stage lineup on Legend will include the first-ever shipboard performance of Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

The AquaDome Market will also expand with more casual venues, including a smoothie and juice counter created for some quick, healthy options.

Fresh Takes on Family Favorites

Several family attractions are being reimagined for Legend of the Seas. The Surfside carousel and the Playscape area for the kiddos will both return with new themes and designs.

Popular activities from other Icon Class ships will also be onboard, including:

  • The towering Category 6 Waterpark

  • The Crown’s Edge skywalk and zip line experience

  • The Swim & Tonic swim-up bar

Best of all, guests will once again meet the ship’s Chief Dog Officer – Royal Caribbean’s resident canine mascot who greets passengers on deck.

Legend of the Seas Itineraries

Legend will headline Royal Caribbean’s cruises in 2026, offering itineraries through both the Mediterranean and Caribbean.
