"The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" star Jen Affleck has filed for divorce from her husband, Zac Affleck, after seven years of marriage, and she is pregnant with the couple's fourth child.

The 27-year-old reality star filed a divorce petition on Tuesday, Nov. 3, in the Fourth Judicial District Court in Provo, Utah, according to court documents obtained by People. TMZ was first to report the news. Jen also submitted a proposed parenting plan for the couple's children, Hollywood Life reported, citing TMZ.

A Split Months After a Pregnancy Announcement

The filing comes about five months after Jen announced on Instagram in June that she and Zac were expecting baby No. 4. The couple already share two daughters and a son, all under the age of 6.

Neither Jen nor Zac has publicly shared a reason for the split, and the full filing is not public. Custody details have not been disclosed.

A source told People on Nov. 4 that Zac "is doing okay," adding that the couple are "staying focused on preparing for the baby and supporting their kids," according to The Tab. Around the time the news broke, both posted on their Instagram Stories to celebrate their oldest daughter's birthday.

A Marriage That Played Out on TV

Jen and Zac met in 2018 on the Mormon dating app Mutual. They got engaged at the Top of the Rock in New York City in early 2019 and married that June.

Their relationship became one of the most talked-about storylines on the Hulu series, which follows a group of Utah-based TikTok influencers known as "MomTok." In season one, the couple nearly split after clashing over Zac's gambling and Jen's plans to attend a Chippendales show in Las Vegas, according to People. They ultimately decided to keep working on their marriage.

In season two, Jen revealed that the two had separated before she announced her third pregnancy. Viewers also watched her open up about prenatal and postpartum depression, and she took a lengthy break from the group before returning to filming.

Tensions over her growing career also surfaced on the show. In a later season, Jen claimed Zac threatened divorce if she took an acting role that involved an on-screen romance, Hollywood Life reported.

"Stronger Than Ever"

Through the ups and downs, Jen repeatedly defended her marriage. In 2024, she told Us Weekly that the pair had done ongoing therapy. "We've healed, and now we're ready to talk about it once it comes out," she said. That same year, she shared an Instagram tribute to Zac that read, in part, "Is Zac perfect? No," while crediting him with supporting her career.

In April 2025, she told the outlet that their marriage was "stronger than ever," Soap Central reported. "Our marriage is night and day difference at this point," she said.

As recently as August, Jen hinted at struggles at home while praising Zac's support. She told People, "It's been a lot the past couple of months, I'll be honest," and said there was "a lot that we've been navigating behind closed doors." She also credited Zac with stepping up during a hard first trimester, saying, "I could not be there for my kids, and so Zac really had to show up."

What's Next for Jen

The couple has since moved from Utah to Southern California, and Jen stars in the spinoff "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County," which premieres Nov. 12.

She isn't the first cast member to go through a divorce. Jordan Ngatikaura filed for divorce from Jessi Draper in March 2026, and it was finalized in September. Taylor Frankie Paul divorced Tate Paul in 2022, while Miranda Hope and Layla Taylor each divorced in 2023.
