Good Morning, Puzzle People!
You've scrolled the headlines, dodged the spoilers, and survived your inbox. Now, it's time for the real challenge. The one that doesn't demand your login, your wallet, or your sanity. Just your brain. And a little coffee.
Welcome to this week's noggin jog— a brisk, satisfying stroll through riddles, logic, and those weird little puzzles that make you question how sharp you really are.
Pen and paper? Great. Just don't scroll too fast; the answers are waiting at the bottom, but it's way more fun to earn them.
📜 Two Riddles and a Half-Confused Brain
Riddle #1:
The more you take, the more you leave behind.

🧩 Apply Logic Generously
Logic Puzzle #1: The Poisoned Drink
Two men order identical drinks.
One man drinks it quickly and survives.
The other man sips slowly and dies.
Both drinks were poisoned— so why did only one man die?
Logic Puzzle #2: The Mismatched Socks
You have a drawer with 10 black socks, 10 white socks, and 10 gray socks—all mixed up and not paired.
The room is completely dark, and you can't see a thing.
What is the minimum number of socks you need to pull out to guarantee you get a matching pair?
🌀 Brain Twizzlers (Sadly Not Edible)
Brain Twister #1: Word Morph
Change the word HEAD to TAIL, one letter at a time, forming a valid word at each step.
What's the shortest path?
Brain Twister #2: What Comes Next?
Look closely:

✅ Riddle #1:
Answer: Footsteps
✅ Riddle #2:
Answer: A bar of soap
✅ Logic Puzzle #1: The Poisoned Drink
Answer: The poison was in the ice. The man who drank quickly survived because the ice hadn't melted. The one who sipped let the ice melt—oops.
✅ Logic Puzzle #2: The Mismatched Socks
Answer: 4 socks
Here’s why:
You’re dealing with three different colors (black, white, gray).
In the worst-case scenario, your first three socks are all different colors—one of each.
But the fourth sock must match one of the three you've already pulled.
So, pulling 4 socks guarantees at least one matching pair.
✅ Word Morph (HEAD → TAIL):
HEAD → HEAL → TEAL → TELL → TALL → TAIL
✅ Sequence:
They're perfect squares: 1², 2², 3², etc.
Next is 6² = 36
Answer: 36
